   This is the first shot of my recent trip to the Island Rügen in the Baltic Sea with my mate *FinalDamnation. We got up at 3am for this specific location which is Cape Arkona to be precise and at the time the blue hour had almost started. It's very challenging to actually get up that early for someone who usually goes to bed around that time.

   After driving to the Cape and scouting the location we waited for the right directional light and the clouds to move into the right spot for our compositions, which took us quite a while; this shot was actually taken slightly after sunrise since the clouds weren't as cooperative as we had hoped.

   Also figured since this is a shot for my next exhibition and I wanted to try some anthracite passepartouts I'll upload this with the fitting framing, really curious what you think about it and if you folks think it'd work in an art gallery.

_____Update Info
   Due to DAs horrific green background the gray frame was really an eyesore thus I replaced it with something that fits this stupid green layout a bit better.

Die Bewegung der Wolken und die "Stille" im Vordergrund ergeben zusammen einen interessanten Effekt. Es lässt den Ort in einer gewissen Ruhe und Zeitlosigkeit erstrahlen. Mal wieder ein netter shot von Dir. Allerdings würde ich auch gerne mal wieder was in Farbe sehen

Hm, ich hab in letzter Zeit irgendwie ne klare Vorliebe für schwarz/weiß entwickelt, aber ich hab auch ein paar Farbaufnahmen gemacht, oder zumindest ein paar die sich als solche eignen würden; kommt also noch.

Tolle Stimmung. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, das dieses Bild als großes Poster ankommt. Das einzige, was ein bisschen störend wirkt, ist der Eindruck, dass die Ruine (ein alter Leuchtturm?) nicht senkrecht in den Himmel steht. Aber so ist es eben.

Wie ging es mit den Mohnblumen?

Hm, große Mohnfelder hab ich leider nicht finden können zumindest nicht auf Rügen, auf dem Hinweg haben wir vor Stralsund welche gesehen, diese aber nicht photographiert, da wir dachten es würde auf Rügen auch welche geben, und auf dem Rückweg haben wir das Feld nicht wieder gefunden.

Das ist ein altes Pegelhaus und die steht leider nicht ganz grade, ich werd mir das glaub ich auch mal als größeres Poster drucken lassen um zu sehen wie's wirkt.
