One of my first hyperfocus images. I never had a scenario where I thought the image would really benefit from the extra effort of blending different focal areas but in this case it worked out quite well. I used three images here one for the imminent foreground, midground or let's say the leaves more in the back which are actually still foreground I guess and one for the trees in the background all blended manually.
I must say that ~emats
and I actually didn't really plan to go to the rain forests of Sintra, mainly because Sven wasn't really found of the idea no matter how hard I tried to convince him, but after the sunrise was miserable and the weather wasn't showing any signs of getting better he decided we should take a detour before heading back to Cabo da Roca for sunset. I actually would've loved to explore the rain forest longer and to be honest I can't really remember why we didn't but this is one of few images I ended up with. If I get to return to Portugal for a third time I'll try to catch some other compositions although I am already really content with this one!
