_____Random Info Much like my shot "Sundown Serenade" [link] this shot to me feels like witnessing the end of the world. The sheer stillness and vastness of the scenery somehow conveys this notion.
"I think if the world was to end it would look somewhat like this, the sun fading and wearing away losing it's former radiance becoming a dying star. "
Just like the aforementioned photograph this was taken on the Baltic Sea coast during the very same sunset although minutes earlier. While reminiscing about the trip with *JanPusdrowski I skimmed trough the images and figured since it has been a while since I edited "Sundown Serenade" you guys wouldn't be bored by another shot from the same series. This time I kept the warm color cast of the ND filter and went for a slightly warmer white balance which I think builds up a nice contrast to my other interpretation of the scenery at hand. Also I added some glow and contrast to emphasize the warm undertone. I guess this cataclysm is a little more gentle than the last one, no?
In case you missed my past pictures from my Rügen trip:
I love the rounded, fish bowl effect. It gives the picture depth and feel. The colours are awe-inspiring, like a fairy tail. The misty effect on the sea is so beautiful, my favourite element in the photo. I also love the way the whole picture revolves around the sun and the colour of it; the rocks reflecting the colour are super. I really cannot see any faults in this photo. It is, to me, flawless and really eye candy. Superb work.
I also love your other photos. You have a defiant style. You are a outstanding artist. Well done.
