_____Random InfoThe Grand Teton Range in Wyoming; the foreground is the nice Jackson lake in which I also took a swim in the evening that day (I know it's prohibited but I didn't fly 14000km there not to do it).
This is one of the few panorama shots I made on my trip. I usually don't like doing panoramas because it's alot of work stitching and correcting the images, but since I didn't have my Sigma 10-20 back then I saw no other chance to capture the range. I tried to get the sky nice and blue at an even level but since I had my CPL on it didn't work out so well. In the end I corrected most things manually which was quite some work, and it's still not perfect but there's not much I can do beyond this point. But I'm still pretty content with the outcome.
Notice in that in the middle of the picture beneath the Tetons peak there is a
forest fire emitting smoke which somehow adds a nice feeling to the image commenting on the unusal heat that lasted during September. But it also makes the left part a little more hazy. The original file was 15736x3175).
_____Update InfoAfter seeing the resized version on DevART I figured my job denoising it wasn't good enough thus I reworked my settings and updated it.
_____Update Info_2I finally got around to exchange the jpg with a reasonable png to get rid of the artifacts in the image.
