With our trip heading down the Atlantic coastline again ~emats
and I decided to walk up the sloped at Praia da Adraga to shot the famous lighthouse over at Cabo da Roca, after having done so exactly one year ago during our 2012 trip to the Iberian Peninsula. This time I decided maybe an earlier time would benefit the atmosphere since my 2012 shot was taken at a later stage and my nighttime exposures weren't as good so I had to make up for it. I somehow tend to really love night time / dawn / dusk material from my most recent trip. Maybe I should deepen my expertise in this field a little more on my coming ventures. If you have any constructive criticism let me hear it.
I decided to go for a lighter framing here just like with my recent ID in order not to evoke the impression the picture is underexposed which a to think white frame might lead to sometimes._____Update Info
After not being entirely content with my editing and getting some good feedback I decided to rework the image. I decided to clean the sky from the stars as well as rework the contrast editing on the foreground and water. Now the exposure looks way more balanced and the image seems a lot calmer in my opinion. I hope you prefer the new version.
Here's my 2012 version of the same spot
