_______Tech Info
Pentax K20D
Sigma EX 10-20mm f/4,0-5,6 DC HSM
Canon Deluxe 200 Tripod
Aperture: f/16
Shutter Speed: 55secs
ISO-Value: 100
Focal Length: 14mm
Filters: BW 110
_____Random Info
Pretty nice exposure and some luck with the direction in which the clouds where shifting ended up in this great shot.
Even more luckily the sun lit up the blast furnace so I got an almost even exposure thus I didn't even have to use my GND. I took about 4 shots with different exposures reaching from 20secs to 2 minutes. However due to the lighting conditions of the foreground I stuck to this particular exposure. Either way I guess bit by bit I'm getting used to long exposures little tricks.
_______Update Info
This is the re-edit I did for the publication of this picture in a coming issue of Fotohits - a german general photography magazine www.fotohits.de/. I am way more content with this version since back in the day when I took this I knew almost nothing about editing and thus the contrasts were pretty bad and almost everything else was suboptimal as well. Really like how it looks know though, definitely worth the extra work redoing this from scratch. Hope you think so too.
